About the Role

DNV Maritime Marketing and Communications supports the Maritime business area of DNV, the world's leading classification society, in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient, and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and accelerating revenue generation. The Regional Communications Hub Europe is a committed team of five international marketing and communications experts based in five different countries, who are responsible for strategy and leadership communication, marketing communication, branding, digital communications, media relations & PR, social media, as well as employee communications.

We are seeking an ambitious, creative, and digitally savvy student assistant with strong organizational skills to support the North Europe market unit and our Regional Communications Manager in Oslo, Norway, with various communications and marketing tasks. One of your key tasks will be to support in the organization of events and exhibitions and the creation of content (text/video) to share insights from and presence at such events, as well as support with digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Help organizing and promoting events and exhibitions and creating content (text/video) to share insights from these events, especially DNV’s presence at Nor Shipping 2027.
  • Assisting in implementing the regional communications strategy and delivering targeted campaigns using digital marketing tools.
  • Enhancing the visibility of DNV people as brand ambassadors through content creation for various channels (social media posts, videos, blog, interviews, conferences, as well as internal channels).
  • Supporting the marketing lead qualification process and marketing automation campaigns.
  • Planning and executing small multimedia marketing campaigns, including creative briefing and content creation.
  • Assisting the team with ad hoc requests and creating innovative ideas.

Requirements

  • University enrollment until at least summer 2027, studying Communications, Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Organisational Psychology, or Business Administration.
  • Excellent Norwegian and English written and verbal skills.
  • Passion for writing, content creation, event management, digital marketing, and content or customer experience enablement.
  • Oslo-based.
  • Personal qualities: Easy to work with, flexible personality with sincere interest and ability to work in an international, cross-cultural setting. Hands-on mentality. Strong organizational skills. Can-do attitude and a hunger to learn. Be comfortable working on multiple initiatives at the same time, prioritizing effectively to meet tight deadlines. Eye for detail, while keeping the focus on the big picture.
