About the Position
Client in the energy sector is looking for a certified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator to work 6 days per week on a 1-year renewal contract. The role is based in MacPherson, Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all site operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, permits, and incident reports.
- Participate in site meetings, toolbox briefings, and safety coordination sessions to reinforce a safety-first culture.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure safety alignment across all work activities.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding site safety progress and status.
- Assist in emergency response planning and execution.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a WSH Coordinator.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience with Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects is required.
- Certifications: Must possess a valid First Aider license.
- Logistics: Must have own transport.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Commitment: Willingness to commit to a 6-day work week.
