About the Position

Now Hiring: Educational Technician II / III (Multiple Openings)

Location: Damariscotta, Maine

Schedule: 32 Hours/Week (0.8 FTE)

Duration: August 2026 – June 2027

Setting: Onsite | K–5

We are seeking four dedicated Educational Technicians (Ed Tech II or III) to support a K–5 student population in a life skills-based program. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with students requiring additional academic and functional support in a structured, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct classroom support to students in a life skills curriculum
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Support students with daily routines, functional skills, and social development
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment

Requirements

• Active Educational Technician II or III certification (required)
• Experience working with elementary students or in special education preferred
• Strong teamwork, patience, and communication skills
