About the Position

We are seeking a Deputy Head of Accounting Department to join our team in Lviv, Drohobych, Ivano-Frankivs, or Ternopil. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of the Accounting Department on team management and strategic initiatives. It also includes process improvement, support for management decisions, and the use of modern technologies (AI, automation, BI) in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Accounting in managing the team
• Coordinate, supervise, and lead the accounting team
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Oversee the monthly and annual closing processes
• Participate in digital transformation and process optimization projects
• Collaborate with other departments as a business partner
• Assist in external audits and work with auditors and consultants

Required Skills

• Experience in leading and managing employees
• Experience in international work environments
• Advanced analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Digital competence and AI knowledge for process optimization and increased efficiency in reporting
• Advanced English proficiency; German skills are a plus

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• An MBA or professional certifications are advantageous
