2D Artist

About the Position

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world. We are a multi-award-winning organization with a global team of over 2,500 people across 12 studios. Our portfolio includes some of the biggest titles in mobile gaming, engaging over 25 million daily active users.

We are currently seeking a 2D Artist to join our Ludios studio in Jakarta. If crafting games and reaching millions of players excites you, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Produce concept and 2D painted renders of assets and textures for the environment, props, objects, and scenes for the game engine.
• Understand and follow the art requirements and specific needs of the project.
• Promptly learn any new tools or techniques.
• Execute tasks assigned to them according to the project schedule while meeting quality expectations.
• Use checklists to perform initial art and technical quality checks before sending the art asset to the Team Leader for review.
• Fix all problems noted by the Team Leader and the Art Director.
• Promptly report to the Team Leader about any difficulties encountered.
• Support Junior Artists, helping them to deal with tasks when needed.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showing examples of 2D painted in-game props and environment examples.
• Familiar with creating 2D assets for a 3D game pipeline.
• Excellent 2D experience with Photoshop.
• Good basic art skills in art fundamentals (color composition and form).
• Good understanding of architectural forms.
• Versatile in art style.
• Passionate about games.

Nice to Have

• 3D software knowledge.
