2D Artist

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior 2D Artist with 3+ years of experience in GameDev to join our team. Strong portfolio and skills in various art styles are required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D art for instant, slot, and crash games, including characters, symbols, backgrounds, environments, UI elements, props, and visual effects
• Design complete asset packages that clearly communicate gameplay states, interactions, rewards, risks, and features
• Refine existing artwork and maintain a consistent visual style across the project
• Prepare layered files and optimized assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration
• Use AI-assisted tools for visual research, concept exploration, and production support
• Collaborate with the Game Art Lead, UI/UX Designer, Animators, and Project Manager
• Organize and maintain a clear, structured workflow for game projects in Figma
• Generate ideas for improving game visuals and user experience
• Constantly research and analyze game art trends, competitors, casino products, slot providers, and player preferences
• Participate actively in brainstorming, mood boards, and team discussions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a 2D Artist in GameDev
• Strong portfolio showcasing GameDev projects
• Strong drawing, composition, color, lighting, perspective, and visual storytelling skills
• Ability to work across different art styles, including stylized, cartoon, casual, semi-realistic, and fantasy
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop or similar digital painting software)
• Experience preparing layered, production-ready assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration, with an understanding of asset optimization and performance constraints
• Experience with AI-powered design tools
• Understanding of game production pipeline and technical limitations of all types of platforms

Nice to Have

• Experience in the iGaming industry
• Knowledge of basic animation principles
• Experience with AI-assisted tools
• Collaborating with Game Art Lead, UI/UX Designer, Animators, and Project Manager
• Generating ideas for improving game visuals and user experience
• Researching and analyzing game art trends, competitors, casino products, slot providers, and player preferences
