About the Position
2D Lead / Senior Artist
RetroStyle Games is a team driven by passion and love for games! We successfully handle complex outsourcing projects while also developing our own games, creating art for them - from concept to final visuals.
We are looking for a 2D Lead/Senior Artist to join our growing team. You will have room for creativity and influence - from building art processes and art direction to participating in R&D decisions. We keep up with the industry: we integrate AI into pipelines, work with modern tools, actively test new approaches, and are happy to share our experience.
We work in an office because we value live contact, connection with the team, and a creative atmosphere. Our office is modern, with fully equipped desks, a power generator, and an active corporate life - team buildings, friendly get-togethers, external networking initiatives, meetups, and charity events. We are located 5 minutes from the Pochaina metro station (Kyiv).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to create art for games from concept to final visuals
- Build art processes and provide art direction
- Participate in R&D decisions
- Integrate AI into pipelines and work with modern tools
- Test new approaches and share experience
Requirements
- Relevant experience in game development/art in a Senior or Lead position
- Ability to organize the work of the art team and communicate effectively with other departments
- Understanding of art creation pipelines
- Confidence in using AI tools to speed up routine tasks
- Enjoy working in a team where everyone inspires and supports each other
