About the Position

Join RIEDEL Communications as a 5G Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d) and coordinate the integration of wireless technologies into our overall product platform. Ensure seamless interaction between all system components and experience the fascination of Riedel Communications in action.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the integration of wireless technologies into the overall product platform.
Ensure interoperability between hardware, firmware, and software throughout the development lifecycle.
Act as a technical focal point, facilitating collaboration between RF, Software, Hardware, and Product teams.
Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and support root cause analysis across engineering disciplines.
Support system qualification, validation, and release readiness activities.
Maintain and enhance system-level documentation.
Contribute to system integration, test automation, and CI/CD processes.
Identify technical risks early and support mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
Experience with complex embedded, distributed, and communication-driven systems.
Proven expertise in software integration, system engineering, and end-to-end system validation.
Good understanding of mobile communication technologies, networking concepts, and Linux-based environments.
Experience with Kotlin and C++ as well as system-level debugging and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and modern software development practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex cross-functional technical challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in international development teams; fluent English required, German is a plus.
