Accountant in Portugal, Remote
Join Pharmbills as an Accountant in Portugal, where you'll manage client accounts and ensure financial accuracy for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
- Managing client accounts – Cooperating with insurance companies, updating patient records, and ensuring accuracy.
- Tracking payments & billing – Processing, monitoring, and verifying financial transactions.
- Data entry & policy verification – Ensuring all insurance and financial records are up to date.
- Generating reports – Preparing monthly financial summaries and client-requested reports.
- Ensuring compliance – Maintaining confidentiality and following security guidelines.
- Problem-solving & support – Assisting in resolving account issues and internal system tickets.
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
- Proficiency in accounting software & Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of financial reports, including P&L.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 or higher).
- A proactive approach & ability to operate independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare or insurance.
- Knowledge of data entry best practices.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations.
