Accountant Manager

Our client is a payment service provider specializing in solutions such as open banking payments, alternative payment methods, card payments, card payouts, mobile commerce payments, and e-wallets and vouchers. They serve businesses in high-growth and high-risk industries like e-commerce, iGaming, and fintech. The company is known for facilitating secure and efficient digital asset transfers through streamlined APIs, SDKs, and no-code integration options.
Role Overview
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements in a dynamic fintech environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with multi-currency transactions, including crypto payments, and to contribute to the financial planning and control of a rapidly growing international company.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll operations for 50+ contractors across multiple currencies, including FX conversions and crypto payroll processing.
- Handle invoice validation, vendor management, and payment approvals while maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Perform month-end closing activities and support the preparation of financial reports.
- Support budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure accounting compliance and coordinate with auditors and external accountants.
- Drive accounting process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong Accounting Knowledge.
- Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting platforms and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting and fintech environments.
- Experience working with auditors and tax compliance.
- Languages: English, Russian.
- Experience in fintech.
