Responsibilities

As a member of our central finance department in Munich, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Independent processing of incoming invoices in compliance with legal and internal guidelines for one or more companies in the group
• Independent processing of open accounts payable and account and ledger reconciliation
• Digital documentation of business transactions and internal processes
• Ensuring payment runs and timely payment processing in national and international payment transactions
• Processing open items and account reconciliation and bank entries
• Resolving discrepancies and solving payment issues
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards
• Critical review and analytical validation of financial data
• Communication with suppliers and internal departments
• Optimization and digitalization of accounting processes

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to other areas and financial projects.

Requirements

• Commercial education with professional experience
• Knowledge in accounting required
• Experience with MS Office applications required
• Experience with an ERP system (SAP) desirable
• Proficient in German and English
• Reliability and meticulous, independent, and goal-oriented work approach
• Analytical and structured thinking
• Team spirit and communication skills
