About the Position

Programmers.IO is currently looking to hire an Accounts Executive specializing in GST, TDS, payroll compliance for our IT services organization based in Jaipur. If you are a diligent and detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting operations and statutory compliances, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

Maintain day-to-day accounting in Tally ERP/Quickbook
Record vouchers, journal entries, sales & purchase entries
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
Support monthly and annual closing activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support India and USA payroll operations

GST & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
Generate and manage E-Way Bills
Ensure timely compliance and GST payments
Coordinate with consultants during audits and departmental notices

TDS & Payroll Compliance

Handle TDS deductions, returns, and challans (24Q, 26Q)
Generate Form 16 / Form 16A
Manage payroll-related statutory components:
- EPF
- ESIC
- Gratuity
- NPS
- Meal Wallet / Employee Benefits

Compliance & Coordination

Ensure statutory compliance as per timelines
Liaise with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
Assist in internal and statutory audits

Reporting & Tools

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
Prepare MIS and management reports
Draft official communication using MS Word

Requirements

Experience Required: 4 to 10 Years
Skills and Knowledge:
- GST
- TDS
- Payroll compliance
- Tally
- MS Office
