Aerospace Control System Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an Aerospace Control System Engineer to join our team at TMC in Novara, Italy. The role involves developing control systems for safety-critical aerospace applications. You will be involved in the design, simulation, validation, and integration of control algorithms, contributing to the development of innovative, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Development of control laws for electronic, electromechanical, and electrohydraulic equipment.
• Implementation of design requirements and support for system integration.
• Verification and validation through simulations and laboratory testing.
• Analysis of test results and troubleshooting activities.
• Preparation and management of technical documentation.
• Support for continuous improvement of products and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of control theory and control algorithm development.
• Experience with MATLAB® and Simulink®.
• Experience in simulation, verification, and validation activities.
• Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Problem-solving attitude, innovation-oriented mindset, and ability to work in teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with electric motors, electromechanical actuators, and electrohydraulic systems.
• Skills in electronics, software, or mechanics.
• Knowledge of Python, Jira, DOORS.

• Permanent contract with a base annual gross salary (RAL) of at least €32,000.
