AI Big Data Engineer

About the Position

We're looking for an AI Big Data Engineer to join our team in Zürich, Switzerland, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will support the development of a chatbot that enables applications to interact with a global Big Data platform, improving onboarding and usability. You will work on integrating AI-driven features, creating structured documentation, and ensuring that business and technical context is captured to optimize data platform adoption and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop chatbot functionalities for interaction with the Big Data platform
• Analyze and document data models in Dataiku and create templates for AI integration
• Define structures for documenting technical and business flows to support AI consumption
• Incorporate business context into platform documentation for improved knowledge accessibility
• Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes
• Apply generative AI techniques to enhance platform usability and automation

Requirements

• Proven experience with Big Data platforms and architectures
• Hands-on experience in chatbot development and AI application design
• Strong skills in data modeling and documentation practices
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka and data streaming ecosystems
• Experience working with Dataiku Data Science Studio
• Knowledge of generative AI application development
• Advanced programming experience in Python

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with business process documentation methods
• Understanding of AI data consumption and related best practices
