About the Position

Holisticon Connect, a division within NEXER GROUP, is a custom software development company with a strong focus on AI and data analytics. We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on AI expert to join our AI-driven Bio/Pharma research initiative focused on next-generation drug discovery and early-stage drug development. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep AI/ML expertise with strong scientific understanding and enjoys building production-ready AI solutions in highly innovative R&D environments.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver AI solutions for Life Sciences and Pharma.
Contribute to AI-driven drug discovery and early drug development.
Build and deploy production-ready AI systems, agents, and scientific workflows.
Apply Graph ML, knowledge graphs, and network biology approaches to biomedical problems.
Develop AI solutions for molecular modelling, biologics, and small molecule discovery.
Collaborate closely with scientific and research teams.
Translate research concepts into scalable, production-oriented AI solutions.
Take full ownership of delivery with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Strong experience building and shipping end-to-end AI/ML solutions in real-world environments.
Hands-on background in agentic AI systems and autonomous or semi-autonomous workflows.
Deep understanding of Graph Machine Learning (GNNs, knowledge graphs, network-based models).
Experience applying AI in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Drug Discovery.
Proven ability to build and deploy production-grade AI tools, agents, dashboards, or internal platforms.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with modern ML/AI ecosystems.
Comfortable working in scientific, research-driven, or R&D-heavy environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with molecular foundation models or protein language models.
Experience with LLM-based scientific agents.
Scientific publications in AI, computational biology, bioinformatics, or drug discovery.
Experience working with biologics or molecular simulations.
Familiarity with cloud/MLOps environments.
