About the Position

GFT is seeking a Analista Programador/a COBOL / CICS / DB2 for an international project, focusing on mainframe environments. The role involves developing, maintaining, and evolving critical applications.

Responsibilities

Analysis, design, and development of applications in Mainframe environments.
Programming and maintenance of applications in COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
Development and execution of JCL for batch processes.
Analysis and resolution of incidents in both productive and non-productive environments.
Participation in technical tests, validations, and deployments.
Collaboration with functional and technical teams for solution definition.
Technical and functional documentation of developments.
Interaction with international teams in English.

Requirements

Experience as an Analyst Programmer in Mainframe environments.
Solid knowledge of COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL.
Experience in technical analysis and evolutionary and corrective maintenance.
Ability to understand functional requirements and transform them into technical solutions.
Professional English (reading, documentation, and communication in international environments).

Nice to Have

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Autonomy and quality-oriented code.
Ability to work in a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
