About the Position
East Europe Foundation is announcing a contest for the position of "Analyst" for the implementation of the program led by the organization.
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Responsibilities
Research and Analytics
- Collect, analyze and structure data for research projects.
- Conduct desk research, prepare briefs, reviews, and comparative analyses.
- Support the Research Lead in the preparation of policy briefs, analytical reports, and recommendations.
Working with Data and Insights
- Create surveys, conduct interviews, collect local insights from schools, communities, EdTech partners.
- Generate basic samples, data tables, primary statistics.
Research Project Support
- Help prepare research methodologies and evaluation plans.
- Participate in the evaluation of the effectiveness of EdTech pilot programs and innovative solutions.
- Prepare draft sections for research reports.
Coordination and Interaction
- Support collaboration with partners, schools, communities for data collection.
- Coordinate tasks with the Research Lead and the Center team.
- Provide documentation on quality control and regular updates on progress.
Development of Evidence-Based Policy
- Search for and summarize leading international practices.
- Analyze and transform data into understandable conclusions and recommendations.
Requirements
- Higher education in social sciences, economics, education, public policy, data analytics, or related fields.
- A master’s degree would be an advantage, but strong analytical skills are essential.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in roles related to analytics, research, program evaluation, education, social projects, or innovation.
- Practical experience in data collection and analysis, conducting surveys, in-depth interviews, desk research.
- Experience in preparing analytical materials, short reports, comparative reviews.
- Experience in interacting with educational institutions, communities, government agencies, or international projects is desirable (but not required).
- Experience in using programs: Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets, survey tools (Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey).
- Basic visualization skills (Slides, Canva).
- High-level proficiency in English – for interaction with international partners.
