Analytics Engineer

About the Position

Your Role

As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a central role in transforming raw data into organized, analysis-ready datasets. Your focus will be:

• Designing and implementing efficient data models (Star Schema, Snowflake) within Cloud and Lakehouse environments;
• Developing data transformation processes using advanced SQL and Spark (Databricks, Dataproc) to ensure scalability;
• Creating high-impact data visualizations and dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Tableau that address critical KPIs;
• Ensuring data integrity, quality, and governance throughout the entire analytical pipeline;
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into precise technical specifications, utilizing best practices for each cloud provider.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, Management Informatics, Engineering, or related fields.

Data Modeling

• Solid experience in designing relational data models (normalized and denormalized) and data warehousing architectures.

Analytics Stack

• Proficiency in visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and solid experience in Business Intelligence projects.

SQL

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for large-scale data analysis, manipulation, and transformation.

Multi-cloud Ecosystem

• Hands-on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Fabric) or GCP (BigQuery, DataProc) and the Databricks platform.

Languages

• Mandatory fluency in both Portuguese and English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience in migration projects or implementations using Microsoft Fabric;
• Knowledge of Python or Spark applied to data engineering;
• Experience in requirements gathering and direct client interaction;
• Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow) and version control (Git).
