Responsibilities

As an Android Developer, you will:

• Design and develop top-tier native Android applications using primarily Kotlin (and potentially Java for legacy maintenance).
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, Product Owners, and backend developers to seamlessly integrate RESTful APIs and deliver an outstanding user experience.
• Guarantee code quality and stability by writing automated tests (unit and UI) and actively participating in rigorous peer Code Reviews.
• Optimize application performance, handle memory management efficiently, and resolve bugs to ensure a flawless experience across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
• Deploy and maintain applications on the Google Play Store, mastering continuous integration and delivery tools (CI/CD, Bitrise, Fastlane).
• Ensure a continuous technological watch on the latest Android ecosystem updates (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, new Google guidelines) to proactively propose cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Requirements

• Holding a degree in IT, software engineering, or computer science.
• At least 3 years of successful hands-on experience in native Android mobile development.
• Perfect mastery of Kotlin and a solid understanding of the Android SDK and modern Android development practices (Android Jetpack components, and ideally Jetpack Compose).
• Highly comfortable with modern mobile software architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI) and version control tools like Git.
• Strong sensitivity for UI/UX design and ergonomics, ensuring your interfaces strictly adhere to Google's Material Design guidelines.
• Excellent team spirit, curious, rigorous, and love sharing your technical discoveries with your peers.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, a passion for innovation, and fluency in English (French or Dutch is a major asset in Brussels).
