About the Position

Android Developer | We Are META | Tech Jobs

At WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our Rhinos and our clients. We are currently seeking an Android Developer to join our team in Porto, with the option for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and RxJava.
• Implement clean and scalable software architecture, such as MVVM.
• Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience working as an Android developer.
• Professional experience with Kotlin.
• Professional experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Professional experience working with Coroutines or RxJava.
• Professional experience with Software Architecture, such as MVVM.
• Experience with Unit testing and UI tests.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform (plus).
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2).
• Availability for remote work based in Portugal. EU-based candidates are welcome, as long as they are willing to relocate to Portugal.
