About the Position

Android Developer, remote

Product – the most popular e-mail service in Ukraine and an internet portal.

Main task for Android Developer – development of a mobile email application for Android devices.

Tech Stack:

• Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines;
• Dagger2, OkHttp;
• Android Jetpack: ViewModel, LiveData, WorkManager;
• Multithreading, Collections, Data structures;
• Android SDK;
• SQLite;
• Firebase - Google Analytic and Crashlytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile email application for Android devices.
• Implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in Android development with Kotlin – from 3 years;
• Knowledge of REST API and SQLite;
• Experience in developing multithreaded applications;
• Understanding of network principles and experience with HTTP;
• Application of algorithmic base and ability to compare algorithms by efficiency;
• Solid knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles;
• Solid knowledge of Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM);
• Knowledge of Java SE, Objective-C, C++;
• Knowledge and experience with OOD patterns and anti-patterns;
• Knowledge of main text data formats (JSON, XML, etc.);
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban.
