About the Role

We are seeking an Organizational Anthropology expert with experience in cultural analysis, organizational transformation, and change management to join our team in Medellin, CO. This role will play a key part in organizational modernization, facilitating the adoption of technological, operational, and structural changes through a deep understanding of corporate culture and organizational practices.

Responsibilities

Design and execute cultural and organizational diagnostics to identify values, rituals, power dynamics, subcultures, and prevailing narratives.
Map key actors, levels of influence, interests, and potential areas of resistance or support for change.
Gather qualitative information through interviews, field observation, participatory workshops, and ethnographic methodologies.
Translate qualitative findings into actionable recommendations for organizational modernization projects.
Support the development of communication strategies and change narratives for different internal audiences.
Design and implement active listening and continuous feedback mechanisms during transformation processes.
Identify social, cultural, and organizational risks associated with change initiatives and propose mitigation actions.
Prepare reports, executive presentations, and monitoring dashboards for sponsors and project teams.
Collaborate with Human Resources, Internal Communications, Change Management, Technology, and other involved areas.
Ensure the application of ethical principles of social research, confidentiality, and responsible handling of sensitive information.
Analyze and document business rules relevant to organizational transformation processes.

Requirements

Degree in Anthropology, Organizational Anthropology, or related social sciences.
Experience in organizational diagnostics, cultural analysis, or change management.
Knowledge of qualitative research methodologies and ethnographic techniques.
Experience in interviews, participant observation, focus groups, and collaborative workshops.
Ability to analyze organizational dynamics, informal structures, and power relations.
Experience in preparing executive reports and presenting findings at various organizational levels.
Knowledge of stakeholder management and actor analysis.
Ability to translate qualitative findings into strategic and operational recommendations.
Understanding of organizational transformation processes and change adoption.
Comprehension of business rules and their impact on transformation initiatives.
Adherence to ethical principles of social research, confidentiality, and protection of sensitive information.

Nice to Have

Experience in digital transformation projects in financial entities or banking.
Knowledge in organizational change management.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams of technology, processes, and risks.
Knowledge of organizational design methodologies and employee experience.
Experience in building cultural indicators and organizational monitoring mechanisms.
Familiarity with organizational maturity and business transformation models.
