Architectural Visualization Artist - Junior

About the Position

NOT A HOTEL ARCHITECTS, the architectural division of NOT A HOTEL, is rapidly expanding and currently seeking talented CG artists to join our Tokyo studio.

As a member of our CG team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, including collaborations with internationally renowned architectural offices or creators as well as in-house development projects. We welcome passionate and creative individuals who are eager to grow together with us.

All visualizations shown on this page were produced in-house.

Japanese language proficiency is not mandatory. However, since our primary working language is Japanese, candidates are expected to have the willingness to learn continuously.

*We also actively utilize AI in our workflows as a means to improve efficiency and expand creative possibilities. Prior experience with AI is not required, but a willingness to learn is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the production of renderings and animations for NOT A HOTEL’s sales and marketing (e.g., file organization, scene/environment setup)
• Organizing and maintaining the asset library
• Creation of renderings for design studies of in-house architectural projects

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, and Photoshop
• Communication skills in English or Japanese

• Rhinoceros
• Forest Pack / RailClone
• After Effects / Adobe Premiere
• Unreal Engine
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., modeling, image enhancement, still-to-animation conversion)

We Offer

• Full social insurance coverage in accordance with Japan's social security system (health insurance, pension, employment insurance, etc.)
• Annual medical check-up covered by the company (once per year as required by law)
• Paid leave: 13–23 days per year, depending on years of service (first year is prorated based on start date)

• Travel allowance: up to 100,000 JPY per year depending on grade/level
• Work environment allowance: 5,000 JPY per month
• Commuting allowance: up to 30,000 JPY per month
