About the Position
We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Support Engineer to join our team. This role is a contract position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with an initial remote period of 6 weeks, followed by relocation to Baton Rouge, LA. The pay range is $30-$35 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Empower teams to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
- Provide expert support for various Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning platforms.
- Troubleshoot model-related issues and optimize model performance.
- Focus on data analysis, data pipelines, and model deployment.
Requirements
- Compute Fundamentals: Deep understanding of compute concepts, including virtualization, containerization, operating systems, and system administration.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including their AI/ML services.
- Generative AI: Experience with LLMs and Generative AI, and cloud products and services (e.g., Vertex AI, Dialogflow, Gemini).
- Machine Learning Development: Experience with Machine Learning model development and deployment.
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience with frameworks for deep learning (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, Ray, etc.), AI accelerators (e.g., TPUs, GPUs), model architectures (e.g., encoders, decoders, transformers), and using machine learning APIs.
Experience
- Troubleshooting Code Experience: Experience reading code in general-purpose coding languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript, etc.) or in system design.
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Experience: Experience with Machine Learning model development and deployment.
- Troubleshooting Experience: Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues.
- Support Experience: Familiarity with support methodologies, case lifecycles, and analytical skills for breaking down issues.
