About the Position
Assembly Equipment & Maintenance Engineer
Support semiconductor assembly equipment to achieve high machine stability, reliability, and OEE performance. Drive preventive maintenance, equipment stability, troubleshooting, automation, digitalization, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize production efficiency and manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve equipment stability, uptime, and reliability to meet production targets.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on equipment issues.
- Monitor and improve OEE performance through data analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify and implement automation, digitalization, and RPA solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Support equipment installation, qualification, maintenance, and technical documentation and engineering projects.
- Collaborate with Production, Process, and Quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/ Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, or maintenance is an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Understanding of OEE, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving methodologies. Exposure to PLC, robotics, machine vision, Python, Power BI, VBA, or RPA tools is an added advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Passion for automation, Industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing. Proactive, hands-on, good communication, and teamwork skills.
