Equipment Maintenance Technician (Diffusion)

About the Position

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician supporting our wafer fabrication facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions
• Utilize strong mechanical skills with knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems
• Apply strong electronic skills including understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Demonstrate knowledge in installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment
• Diagnose, test, and repair equipment using electrical repair procedures
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Apply problem-solving skills and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) in the manufacturing environment

Requirements

Education Requirements:

• AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting Diffusion equipment: Thermco TMX 9000/10000, SVG VTR 6000/7000
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field
• Must be able to lift 40lbs

Physical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person (ITAR role)

Application

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL. Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
