Assistant Accountant @ Mantis Financial Department

Location: Athens, Greece (ref. code FIN-2020-ACA)

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our Financial Department in Athens, Greece. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, enter, and post daily transactions and journal entries of the company.
• Communicate with vendors and customers to reconcile balances.
• Issue invoices.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to prepare various Financial and Accounting Reports.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the office.
• Organize and maintain files, records, and information in a useful and easily retrievable manner.
• Handle external work of the accounting department (Banks, Tax Office, EFKA, GEMI, etc.).

Requirements

• University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial controlling, or an administrative role.
• Very good command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
