Job Description
A faculty position is available for a General Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesia.
This opportunity is suited to a physician who values clinical excellence, teaching, and academic medicine while maintaining a reasonable work-life rhythm.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care across a full spectrum of general surgical cases, excluding OBGYN and Pediatrics.
- Teach residents and medical students within an established academic program.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, CRNAs, CAAs, and APPs.
- Deliver a mix of inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services.
- Perform clinical, teaching, and administrative duties as required by the Department of Anesthesiology.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO required.
- Eligible for or in possession of a valid Ohio medical license.
- Board certified by, or in the board examination process of, the American Board of Anesthesiology.
- Eligible for appointment at the level of Instructor (board-eligible), Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
- Commitment to the education of fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Eligible for credentialing at affiliated healthcare institutions.
