Job Description

A faculty position is available for a General Anesthesiologist in the Department of Anesthesia.

This opportunity is suited to a physician who values clinical excellence, teaching, and academic medicine while maintaining a reasonable work-life rhythm.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care across a full spectrum of general surgical cases, excluding OBGYN and Pediatrics.
• Teach residents and medical students within an established academic program.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, CRNAs, CAAs, and APPs.
• Deliver a mix of inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services.
• Perform clinical, teaching, and administrative duties as required by the Department of Anesthesiology.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Eligible for or in possession of a valid Ohio medical license.
• Board certified by, or in the board examination process of, the American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for appointment at the level of Instructor (board-eligible), Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• Commitment to the education of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Eligible for credentialing at affiliated healthcare institutions.
