Assistant Automation Engineer

About the Position

Our client is a well-established company in Cyprus offering home technologies. They’re currently growing their team and they’re looking for an Assistant Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of electronic devices and automation systems, correctly, on time, and within the quality standards required by the company. They will also be responsible for the team of installers assigned to each project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance of electronic devices and automation systems offered by the company.
• Responsible for guiding and organizing the team of installers assigned to each project.
• Take instructions from the Project Engineer and report back to him.
• Inform the Project Engineer regarding the project progress and any issues that may arise.
• Work closely with all colleagues to achieve productivity goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.
• Ensure that all tasks assigned are completed within the relevant deadlines and that all procedures, instructions, and company regulations are followed.
• Provide training and mentor new employees of the Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience of more than 2 years in a similar position.
• Knowledge of the company’s mission, customers, and all products.
• Follow the company's standard procedures to achieve optimal management and delivery of work or repair of projects on time.
• Maintain projects and work within the budget and quality standards required by the company.
• Update knowledge in relation to their work through participation in educational opportunities, reading relevant professional publications and technical manuals, and maintaining network personnel.
• Be a role model of integrity. Integrity is not optional. The automation technicians should promote character integrity in all their actions.
