About the Position

Associate Inventory Controller

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking an Associate Inventory Controller for our operations in Cairo, Egypt. Join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering an amazing experience-fast, easy, and to your door.

Responsibilities

• Daily Monitoring: Track stock movement and generate daily inventory adjustment reports.
• Stock Reports: Provide stock reports at the category level for all stores.
• Guidance: Assist stores with receiving deliveries, returning PO, and resolving operational issues involving stocks.
• Stock Take: Conduct stock takes/cycle counts for running stores.
• Invoice Matching: Collaborate with finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Weekly Reporting: Report weekly to the General Manager with total inventory adjustments and shrinkage percentages against sales.
• Investigation: Perform spot checks and visit stores to investigate inventory discrepancies.
• System Issues: Report system issues affecting store operations and stock.
• Monthly Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly with finance.
• Monthly Reporting: Generate monthly reports of inventory turnovers.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in Inventory management.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to interact with senior-level executives and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Energetic and eager to learn each day on the job.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with various tools.
• Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.
