Responsibilities

• Mechanical Engineering: 4 - 7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering.
• P&ID and Diagrams: Basic understanding of P&ID and ability to read heat and mass balance diagrams.
• Treatment Processes: Basic understanding in pre-treatment, filtration, and post-treatment.
• Design Coordination: Review P&IDs and provide markups per project specifications and mass balance diagrams.
• Markup Requirements: Mark up P&IDs with customer tagging or international tagging requirements, e.g., KKS tagging.
• Sanity Checks: Perform sanity checks of P&IDs regarding pressure, flow, storage level requirements, MOC detailing, dosing studies, and product fact checks.
• Calculations: Perform line sizing and velocity check calculations.
• Correctness Assurance: Ensure correctness of P&IDs and incorporate as-sold requirements to customers.
• Projection Calculations: Verify and cross-check process projection calculations, e.g., membrane tank sizing, blower capacity, and air for mixing requirements.
• Independent Calculations: Independently perform line sizing and velocity check calculations, develop equipment lists, valve lists, electrical load lists, pump sizing calculations, blower sizing calculations, and instrument lists.
• Review and Approval: Review and approve line sizing and velocity check calculations, equipment lists, and valve lists.
• Technical Package Preparation: Independently prepare technical packages for critical commodities, rotating equipment, and static equipment.
• Material Take Off: Perform manual material take off from PIDs, facility arrangement drawings, or hand sketches.
• Review and Coordination: Review material take off with piping specifications and coordinate with modelers to monitor design progress.
• Fabrication Drawing Review: Review fabrication drawings for puddle pipe, spools, beams, hangers, and lifting modules.
• Exposure to Standards: Exposure to codes and standards, experience working with global customers/global delivery centers.
