Associate SDET

About the Position

We are seeking an Associate SDET with experience in automating tests for scalable application components, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

The role will focus on, but not exclusively, the following:

• Ensuring product quality:
  • Work with engineering and architecture to implement the plan developed for automating test cases and ensuring adequate automation coverage
  • Create and maintain test automation (both UI and API) within CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensure the expected behavior of code prior to product releases
  • Increase overall coverage of automation suite
  • Curate reports for the stakeholders

Requirements

Key Proficiencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS/IT) or 1 to 3 years of professional experience in software development or software testing
• Experience writing code in an Object-Oriented language such as Java
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion

Desired Skills:

• Over 1 year of experience of writing test automation
• Experience writing web-page automation preferably using Selenium and Java
• Experience with testing distributed systems
• Knowledge of Linux administration, packaging, and command line use
• Knowledge of Scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Python)
• Knowledge of virtualization / containerization technologies
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks, including JUnit, TestNG
