Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team in Munich, focusing on the development and integration of cloud-based applications. Our goal is to shape HR processes efficiently, scalably, and sustainably through the consistent digitalization and automation of internal services and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate various cloud-based applications via web-based interfaces for automating recurring tasks in the candidate and employee lifecycle.
• Responsible for the development of full-stack applications and their independent and reliable operation using modern DevOps and GitOps tools.
• Develop interfaces for communication with internal and external services/cloud applications such as Workday or SmartRecruiters.
• Provide services (e.g., for feedback processes) for central use by other employees.
• Manage and develop relevant components for monitoring and alerting to always keep the status of our services in view.
• Support other teams in the realization of technical and subject-specific projects and in the monitoring and analysis of applications to ensure the best results for our employees.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge in software development of web applications with Python (Django as backend) and React/Typescript (frontend).
• Experience in the use and deployment of HTTP REST APIs.
• Knowledge in the use of databases (e.g., MySQL) is a plus.
• Experience with Git-/DevOps-Tools such as ansible and Docker.
• Fluent German (min. C1), English skills are advantageous.
