Responsibilities
- Daily operations and professional quality in your units
- Main responsibility for personnel, finance, and expertise in the department
- Ensure interdisciplinary cooperation with internal and external actors
- Contribute to the development and establishment of new services/departments
Requirements
- 3-year higher education in health or social sciences (e.g., nurse, nursing assistant, child welfare pedagogue, social worker, or equivalent). Alternative health/social science bachelor's degrees with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Desirable with further education in mental health, and/or substance abuse.
- Relevant leadership experience and/or further education in management is desirable.
- You should have experience from the health, care, or child welfare sector, preferably with competence or experience in working with substance abuse, mental disorders, or developmental disabilities.
- Driver's license class B.
- Valid police certificate upon entry.

About Aurora Omsorg
Aurora Omsorg was established in autumn 2019 and is now well-established with the operation of child welfare and care services and reception services in Northern Norway, Trondheim, and with child welfare in Oslo. Our main office is located in Tromsø, in addition, we have offices in Bodø, Trondheim, and Oslo. Today, there are approximately 470 permanent employees in Aurora Omsorg. We have entered into an operational agreement with UDI, framework agreements with BUDIR, and have otherwise agreements with larger and smaller municipalities throughout the region.
