Role Description

Key Responsibilities

Analysis for upcoming work and interface with BAs for Compliance Team
Analyse, Develop, Test, and support the User Acceptance phase
Develop technical skills and some business knowledge in Global Shareholding / Short Sell Regulations

Person Specification

The following skills and experience are required for this role:

Good Axiom toolset experience (beyond mapping inputs directly to reports)
Good experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
Comfortable in a Unix terminal environment
Previous experience of working in the Financial Services industry is preferable
Strong desire to learn and apply learned knowledge
Good interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

Linux or Unix background with experience in Shell Scripting and use of command line tools
Experience of handling large, complex data sets, e.g., input / enhancement layer within Axiom
Verifying and testing objects after migration/installation
JIRA/Agile development methods
Test case plan, execution, and documentation
Comfortable liaising with BAs on requirements/testing
