Azure Data Engineer with DevOps competencies

About the Position

We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer with DevOps competencies to join our team in Kraków or Wrocław. This role focuses on data processing pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data processing/transformation pipelines
• Build and automate environments for training and deploying ML models – from experiments to monitoring
• Manage cloud infrastructure (mainly Azure, but AWS or GCP is also welcome) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Implement and maintain tools for model, data, and code versioning (e.g., MLflow, DVC)
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents when necessary
• Collaborate with Data Science, ML, and Software Engineering teams to improve deployment processes

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of ETL tools and creating data processing pipelines
• Ability to develop data infrastructure diagrams
• Experience in creating and documenting data models
• Proficiency in Fabric and Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Ability to write scripts in Python or Bash
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of MLOps and managing the ML model lifecycle
• Ability to work well in a team – both with technologists and analysts

• Competitive salary ranging from 13,600 zł to 17,300 zł brutto per month
