Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical contact and point of reference for clients on Azure topics, including direct interaction with Azure architects from the counterpart.
• Define, implement, and improve the Azure governance framework (policies, subscription/management group structure, naming, tagging, RBAC, compliance, and baseline security).
• Manage end-to-end infrastructure and service projects and deployments in Azure, coordinating with internal and client technical teams.
• Administer and provide operational support for existing Azure resources (not just design, but execute and maintain).
• Detect opportunities for automating recurring tasks and improving operational processes.
• Identify synergies between projects and workloads to optimize resource usage.
• Analyze Azure consumption and costs, and lead optimization and savings initiatives (FinOps): rightsizing, reserved instances/savings plans, shutdown policies, elimination of idle resources, etc.
• Prepare status reports, progress reports, and recommendations for the client.
• Escalate and coordinate the resolution of incidents and issues related to the Azure platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Azure administrator (not just design/architecture), with real operational management of the platform.
• Previous experience interacting with Azure architects as a technical counterpart, whether from a client, consultant, or internal team.
• Solid knowledge of Azure governance: Azure Policy, Management Groups, Blueprints/Landing Zones, RBAC, Cost Management, security, and compliance.
• Experience in managing cloud infrastructure projects (planning, monitoring, stakeholder communication).
• Knowledge or experience in FinOps: cost analysis, cloud spending optimization, consumption reports.
• Good command of automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar) for implementing improvements.
• Advanced English
