Azure Infrastructuur Engineer

Responsibilities

As an Azure Infrastructuur Engineer at Quality B.V., you will:

• Design, implement, and optimize modern Azure environments for various clients.
• Contribute to stable, secure, and scalable cloud platforms with a focus on automation and standardization.
• Manage, optimize, and develop Azure environments.
• Migrate on-premises infrastructures to Azure.
• Design and implement secure-by-design solutions.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform).
• Work within DevOps teams and contribute to CI/CD processes.
• Apply modern Azure services such as AKS, API Management, and AI solutions.
• Create technical designs (LLD) and translate requirements into High Level Designs (HLD).
• Advise on Azure landing zones and architecture choices based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Azure Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud providers.
• Experience with automation using PowerShell, Bicep, and/or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of networking, identity, and cloud security principles.
• Affinity with applying best practices such as the Well-Architected Framework.
• Minimum AZ-104 certification, with ambition towards certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, or AZ-700.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues.
• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and continuously focused on improvement.
