Back-end Engineer (NodeJS)

About the Position

European company is a CeDeFi platform that aims to simplify the overall experience of investing in game-changing blockchain projects. Their ultimate mission is to supercharge the adoption of decentralized finance and smoothen out the experience of complying with traditional financial regulations. Their goal is to build a bridge between both financial ecosystems and specifically the first Cardano-Polygon platform. Now they are looking for a Back-end Engineer (NodeJS) to join their team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Writing bug-free scalable code, with required unit tests, integration tests, etc.
• Building customer-facing APIs, keeping security, scalability, and SOLID principles in mind.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems.
• Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Python.
• Design, build and engineer reliability in key CI/CD systems and tools.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Relentless focus on delivering high-quality, bug-free code.

Requirements

• 4+ years in NodeJS development.
• Experience working with NestJS.
• Strong problem-solving skills, using data structures and algorithms.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals, database, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Cloud Providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP, Azure.
• Experience using a source control system such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab, or similar.
• Good spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Python or React.
