About the Position
We are hiring a Backend Gameplay Programmer in Sofia, Bulgaria for a full-time position. Join our strong, established product team that delivers award-winning, world-class slot games.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems for the mathematical models behind our slot games.
- Drive technical excellence by defining consistent code standards, reviewing code, and ensuring robust documentation.
- Enhance tools, processes, and infrastructure to support scalable and efficient development.
- Collaborate closely with mathematicians, game designers, and frontend teams to align technical solutions with game design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our team ahead of the curve.
- Thoroughly document all new features and maintain guides for workflows and best practices.
- Champion knowledge sharing across the team to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming and technical knowledge, particularly with any of PHP/C++/Python/JavaScript or TypeScript.
- A strong foundation in solving complex mathematical and statistical problems.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with a passion for building innovative gaming experiences.
Nice to Have
- A love for slot games or experience in casino gaming mechanics.
