Backend Software Engineer

About the Position

We're seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Atlassian, focused on delivering creative improvements for our engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build REST APIs that power core customer experiences
• Configure monitoring for backend services
• Build CICD pipelines
• Develop integrations with our content management system
• Build features and services with reliability in mind

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience)
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST
• A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting
• Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node)

Nice to Have

• Experience working with an enterprise content management system
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
• Java experience
• Freemarker experience
• Rust experience

Salary

The base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

• Zone A: $150,300 - $196,225
• Zone B: $135,270 - $176,603
• Zone C: $124,749 - $162,867
