Backend Software Engineer (.Net )

About the Position

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer (.Net) for a leading digital agency group, working on a new EdTech platform for one of the most prestigious Hospitality Educational institutions in the world, with HQ in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of a strong delivery team
• Research and design functional components based on business requirements
• Deliver high-quality features
• Work closely with Solution Architects on researching and prototyping complex solutions
• Research and use new technologies to find more efficient ways to solve specific issues

Required Skills

• A computer science, software engineering, or related field master’s or bachelor’s degree is a must
• 3+ years of commercial experience in.NET development; strong knowledge of .NET Core
• Sufficient English level for communication (verbal and written) and fluent Ukrainian/Russian
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• T-shapeness
• Confident knowledge of C#/.NET
• Experience in ASP.NET Web API and ASP.NET Core
• Entity Framework/Dapper
• Architectural, Enterprise, and Design Patterns. Excellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory. Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID, DDD, TDD, BDD).
• Experience with SQL (MSSQL, MySql, Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CouchDB)
• Understanding of network interactions protocols and conventions (e.g. REST, RPC)
• Understanding of Rest API, oAuth2, JWT, OpenID
• Testing frameworks (e.g. NUnit, XUnit, MSTest) (more than 3 years)
• Experience with Docker
• SCM tools working experience (Git, Github/Bitbucket)

Nice to Have

• Associate knowledge of Javascript/Typescript and Node.js
• Expertise in Angular/React
• Working experience with Microservices architecture
• Working experience with CQRS
• Multi threading and parallel computing
• Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Active MQ, AWS SQS, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub)
• Websockets (SignalR or Framework based WebSocket) or gRPC
• Performance optimization and caching tools (Redis, Memcached)
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), and Azure stack
• Working experience with Terraform
• Certifications on Microsoft Certified Developer
