Band 6 ACT Pharmacy Technician

About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 ACT Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in Warwickshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accuracy Checking Technician to join a busy NHS hospital pharmacy team. You will be responsible for providing accuracy checking support across the dispensary, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide accuracy checking support across the dispensary
• Ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines to patients
• Support the smooth running of the dispensary
• Assist with the supervision and development of junior pharmacy staff

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Accredited Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Proven experience in a dispensary-based accuracy checking role
• Experience within cancer services or oncology pharmacy (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
