Band 6 MMT Pharmacy Technician

About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 MMT Pharmacy Technician to work on a temporary basis in South East London. This role involves providing ward-based medicines management support, including medicines reconciliation, patient counselling, and supporting safe and effective medicines use across inpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Provide ward-based medicines management support
• Perform medicines reconciliation
• Offer patient counselling
• Support medicines optimisation
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Right to Work in the UK
• GPhC registration
• Strong medicines reconciliation and ward-based experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
