Band 7 Dispensary Pharmacist

About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Dispensary Pharmacist to work on a temporary basis in Dorset. This role involves supporting dispensary pharmacy services within a hospital setting, including clinical screening, accuracy checking, patient counselling, and ensuring the safe and timely supply of medicines.

Responsibilities

• Support dispensary pharmacy services within a hospital setting
• Perform clinical screening
• Conduct accuracy checking
• Provide patient counselling
• Ensure the safe and timely supply of medicines
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and wider clinical teams

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Hospital dispensary experience essential
• Strong clinical screening and accuracy checking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
