Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist - Dispensary & Wards

About the Position

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 or 8a Clinical Pharmacist for Dispensary & Wards to work on a temporary basis in Cheshire, United Kingdom. This role involves providing clinical pharmacy support across both ward and dispensary services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy support across both ward and dispensary services.
• Include medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, patient counselling, and supporting safe and effective prescribing.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and pharmacy colleagues to support medicines optimisation.
• Ensure the safe and timely supply of medicines across inpatient services.

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Strong ward-based clinical pharmacy experience
• Hospital dispensary experience essential
• Excellent clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
