Band 7/8a Mental Health Pharmacist

About the Position

We are seeking a Band 7/8a Mental Health Pharmacist to join our team in Hampshire, United Kingdom. This role involves providing fully clinical pharmacy support across a range of mental health wards including adult, older persons mental health, adolescent services, and specialist units.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy support across various mental health wards.
• Undertake clinical screening of medication charts.
• Attend MDT meetings.
• Support clinicians with queries.
• Facilitate medicines supply through the dispensary.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites.

Requirements

• GPhC registration
• Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
• Mental health pharmacy experience (desirable)
• Strong clinical screening and medicines optimisation skills
• Ability to work across multiple sites and within multidisciplinary teams
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

We Offer

• Temporary position with potential for extension
• Competitive pay rate of £30 to £36 per hour depending on experience
• Referral Bonus: £200 for every AHP referred who joins us
