BI / Big Data Solutions Architect

About the Position

Binariks is looking for an experienced and highly skilled BI/Big Data Solutions Architect with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing, and Big Data platforms. This role bridges sales/pre-sales activities and technical delivery teams. The main responsibilities lie in understanding client needs, architecting and designing innovative BI/Big Data solutions, demonstrating feasibility via POC, supporting the sales process, and providing technical leadership and advisory during the project execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the presales teams to engage prospective clients acting as a primary technical point and trusted advisor.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and assessments to deeply understand client business challenges, technical environment, and identify opportunities.
• Architect end-to-end solutions tailored to client needs to automate complex business processes and workflows.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and customized POCs that effectively showcase business value.
• Provide technical expertise for creation proposals, SOWs, implementation roadmaps, and accurate cost/effort estimations.
• Contribute and oversee directly to the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms, pipelines, and dashboards.
• Architect and optimize data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and visualization layers using best practices.
• Ensure solution scalability, performance, governance, and security across diverse environments.
• Implement and follow DataOps and DevOps best practices throughout the data project lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD for data pipelines, automated testing, performance monitoring, and data quality assurance.
• Collaborate effectively with project delivery teams and ensure seamless integration with clients' systems, facilitating smooth transition from POC to production.
• Serve as SME in data architecture, BI platforms, data lakes, and modern data stack technologies and their practical applications for both external and internal teams.
• Advise clients and internal teams on data strategy, tool selection, and roadmap definition.
• Oversee and guide delivery teams throughout the design, development, and deployment lifecycle, ensuring solution quality, performance, and scalability.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of reusable components, frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Continuously research and stay up to date with the latest advancements, frameworks, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong background in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Big Data platforms.
• Proficiency in DataOps and DevOps best practices.
• Expertise in data architecture, ETL/ELT workflows, data models, and data visualization.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, data quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
