About the Position

Join Smile Group as a Business Analyst in Brussels. Translate complex business needs into efficient digital solutions. Hybrid work available.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Analyze and gather our clients' business requirements during dynamic co-design workshops.
• Write functional specifications (User Stories, requirement documents) with rigor and clarity.
• Support the development teams (developers, tech leads, architects) to ensure a clear understanding of the goals during each sprint.
• Model business processes and actively participate in designing the functional architecture.
• Manage the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase and guarantee the flawless quality of final deliverables.
• Advise our clients on optimizing their digital ecosystem by guiding them toward the best open-source solutions on the market.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in IT, engineering, or business (Master's level).
• Successful experience of at least 4 years as a Business Analyst or Proxy Product Owner in the digital sector.
• Perfect mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tracking tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong interest in the web and open source, and understanding of the major challenges of complex digital architectures (e-commerce, portals, business applications).
• Excellent interpersonal skills to popularize technical concepts to all types of stakeholders.
• Analytical mind, proactivity, and active listening to be a trusted partner.
