Business Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a Business Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to analyze virtualization initiatives in a hybrid work model for a global enterprise. This role is based in Quezon City, Philippines and follows a Hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate detailed requirements for virtualization initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and stability in a hybrid work environment.
• Analyze current business processes related to virtual infrastructure usage and propose optimized workflows that improve resource utilization, reduce downtime, and support day shift operations.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps that clearly describe virtualization use cases, dependencies, and expected business outcomes for cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams to translate business needs into feasible virtualization solutions, ensuring alignment with capacity planning, performance targets, and compliance standards.
• Evaluate existing reports and metrics related to virtualization performance and create improved dashboards that provide transparent insights to business and technology stakeholders.
• Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes in virtual environments, assessing effects on users, applications, data, and support processes while minimizing disruption in daily business activities.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to review requirements, resolve gaps, prioritize features, and reach consensus on virtualization enhancements that deliver measurable business value.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios focused on virtualization capabilities, ensuring that business expectations are accurately reflected in validation activities.
• Support user acceptance testing by reviewing test results, documenting defects, and coordinating remediation actions that align virtual platform behavior with agreed business requirements.
• Prepare clear and concise business cases for virtualization investments, articulating cost benefits, efficiency gains, risk reduction, and alignment with organizational strategy.
• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and dependency tracking for virtualization-related projects, ensuring stakeholder awareness and timely decision-making.
• Support adoption activities by contributing to training materials, reference guides, and process documentation that help users make effective use of virtual resources in a hybrid work setting.
• Maintain compliance with internal governance standards by ensuring that virtualization requirements, decisions, and changes are well documented and traceable for audits and reviews.

Requirements

• Solid experience in business analysis with four to six years of industry exposure demonstrating consistent delivery of clear requirements, structured documentation, and measurable process improvements.
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including resource allocation, scalability, performance considerations, and typical enterprise use cases that support modern business operations.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends in virtual infrastructure metrics, and recommend practical improvement actions.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques such as process modeling, requirements tracing, and impact assessment to support virtualization projects.
• Effective communication skills with both business stakeholders and technical specialists using precise language, well-structured documents, and constructive feedback during workshops and reviews.
• Experience working in hybrid work models using digital collaboration tools and structured communication practices to coordinate analysis activities across distributed teams.
